Twenty minutes in. Engineer working inside a week.
There is no job posting, no résumé pile and no procurement cycle. You tell us the stack, the seniority and the hours that have to overlap. We come back with three engineers, each with their assessment scores and the work they were assessed on.
The timeline, from first call to first invoice
Tell us what you need
Set the role up yourself, or take twenty minutes with us. Same inputs either way: the stack, the seniority and the hours that have to overlap.
Three engineers, shortlisted
Each has assessment scores and the work they were assessed on, and is matched on the hours you gave us as well as the stack. If none of the three fit, say so and three more follow.
Contract signed, work starts
Tooling access, Slack, standup and the first ticket are agreed in writing on day one. Hours are tracked and come out GAAP-formatted, so R&D credits are claimable rather than lost.
The first invoice, and your first decision
Nothing is invoiced until day 8. Walk away inside that first week and you owe nothing at all. Keep the engineer and week one bills with the first month. Month to month from there, so you can cancel any month.
Three, not five. Enough to decide on.
A longer list turns hiring into a research project. Three properly matched engineers is a decision you can make in an afternoon, and everything you need to make it arrives with them.
Every profile has been read by a person on our side before it reaches you. Nothing goes out on a match score alone.
Assessment scores
Scored on the technology you are hiring for, not general aptitude.
Our interview notes
Technical and personal, written up and passed to you rather than kept on our side.
Real submitted work
Output from the gates they cleared, not a portfolio they curated.
Working hours
Matched to the overlap you named, in whichever timezone your team works.
The week that decides it
The engineer is in Slack, on standup, and has something real to ship. An idle first week is the fastest route to a swap, so it does not happen.
We ask you, not the engineer, whether this is working. A problem raised on day 3 is fixable. The same problem on day 7 is not.
Keep or swap, asked out loud rather than assumed. If you want a different engineer, the replacement is identified the same day and costs nothing.
The first invoice. Nothing before it. Walk away inside that first week and you owe nothing at all.
Managed, if you want it
Someone to run the work, not just do it
Five engineers or more and engineering management comes with the account at no extra cost. Below five you can still have one, charged separately.
Delivery is owned on our side, what ships is reviewed, the cadence is kept and someone answers for the account. This is management over the work rather than a full-time manager assigned to your team. If you would rather manage the engineers yourself, that is fine too.
Five or more
Engineering management costs you nothing.
Fewer than five
A manager can still be attached, for a fee.
Written so you can leave
Nothing until day 8
Walk away inside that first week and you owe nothing at all. Keep the engineer and week one bills with the first month.
Free swaps
If the engineer is not right, we swap them free, as many times as it takes, until you are happy.
Month to month
Cancel any month. No deposit, no platform fee, no minimum term.
Never double-sold
The engineer works only for you.
Your timezone
Engineers work the hours your team works. Tell us which overlap matters and only people already working it go on the shortlist.
The IP is yours
Contracts are built so everything the engineer builds belongs to you. Hours are logged GAAP-formatted, which keeps R&D credits claimable.
Pricing sits on the pricing page: from $4,000 a month all-in, up to $6,000 for specialist ML engineers.
Need something shipped now?
Tell us what needs building, plus the stack and the seniority. Three matched engineers come back inside 48 hours, with no call required first.
